Touch Bible KJV + Strong's™ Features

There are two installation methods for Touch Bible™. If your device is connected to the internet via WiFi, you can download it directly.

If you do not have access to WiFi, you can download Touch Bible™ on your computer, and then transfer it to your device with iTunes®.

Below are instructions for both methods, please choose one as a guide.

Downloading Touch Bible™ over a WiFi connection

Open Safari.
Go to www.touchbible.org
You will see a list of Touch Bible™ apps with descriptions and prices.
Tap on the word "Download" beside of the app you wish to download.
The App Store will open.
Press the "Free" or "Buy" button.
The Button will change to an "Install" button, Tap the "Install" button to begin the download.
The App Store will close and you will see a new Touch Bible™ icon on your home screen.
There is a bar inside of the icon that indicates downloading. Once it has filled with blue, you can run Touch Bible™!
At your next opportunity, sync your device with iTunes® to backup your download and its settings,notes, and bookmarks.

Downloading Touch Bible™ with a Computer

Downloading Touch Bible™ with a computer and transferring it to your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad. Note: this will require the computer that has your iTunes® account and is synced with your current device.

Open an internet Browser and visit TouchBible.org.
Press the "Download Touch Bible™" link located near the top of every page.
You will see a list of Touch Bible™ apps with descriptions.
Tap on the word "Download" beside of the app you wish to download.
iTunes® will open, and you will see the download page for Touch Bible™.
Near the upper left side of the page, there is a large Touch Bible™ icon. Under that is a button with the words "Free App" or "Buy App" with the price of the app. Click this button to begin the download process.
The Download will begin, in the area to the Left of iTunes, under the Library, you will notice a "Download" play list. Once the Download is finished, that playlist will disappear. Touch Bible™ will then be in the Applications Library.
Plug in your iPhone®, iPod Touch®, or iPad® into iTunes®. You will see it in the Device section on the left of iTunes®. Click on the device.
Press the Sync button. Touch Bible™ will be transfered to your Device.
Once the sync process is finished, you will find Touch Bible™ on one of your home screens. If you do not see it, check your age restriction settings (Touch Bible™ is rated ages 12+).

It's very fast, convien,t and correct so far.

Takes a while to load yet jumps the gun

The program takes a while to load (granted, I *am* using a 1st gen iPhone). Using the Dial-A-Verse feature to load chapters is great, but the program insists on loading the book, then each chapter, then each verse, all while you're still trying to dial. (If they could fix this in an update so that everything loads only when you click "done" -- or at least have that option -- it would be great!). That being said, the Strong's is helpful, and the search feature is nice, especially for the app only being $0.99 to buy it. I just dislike the loading time issue.

It is great to read the Bible on the iPhone®, iPod Touch® and iPad®
